Fellow Rotarians: Our annual project helping to clean-up the Cuyahoga River is an ideal event for the age of Covid. It's outside and there is lots of space to social distance. You can even work in you're own bubble if you desire. The city is not sponsoring its usual event this year on National Public Lands Day (September 26), but Becky McCleary welcomes our leadership in taking on some of the responsibility. The city will provide the equipment (gloves, pickers, bags, etc.). All you have to do is show up at Water Works Park, Little Stone Shelter, at 9:00 a.m.. All Falls Rotary Club members, Interact members, and guests are welcome. While much smaller and less elaborate than the city's event, it is still important work that needs to be done. Stay as long as you'd like; leave when you want to. My best guess is that it will take two hours or less. Please let me know if you plan to attend so we can bring enough equipment. Kevin Rosswurm |
