Scholars Night at Cuyahoga Falls High School

May 11,2017

On May 11, we celebrated our 53rd Rotary Scholars Night at Cuyahoga Falls High School.  The event was well attended and supported by the students, their families as well as the Community.  We recognized over 300 students who excel in the classroom, in leadership roles and giving of themselves in the community.

We also awarded $8,500.00 in scholarships to 8 graduating seniors from Cuyahoga Falls High School, as well as $1,000 to a graduating senior at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.

The evening began with entertainment from the Gold Tones band as well as the Melodymen & Melodettes who performed outstanding selections and sang A Capella.

Our Keynote Speaker, Falls alumni and City Councilman Adam Miller gave a wonderful heartfelt talk about finding a passion in our lives, and living it out. He told the students about his personal journey that began on 9-11 and continuing through 8 years of military service and now as a public servant.
